I am deeply committed to the idea that making the world better is not just an aspiration but a tangible goal, and I firmly believe that the foundation for achieving this lies in the creation of communities.
My journey has been intricately woven with the fabric of community support. The bonds formed within these communal spaces have played a pivotal role in shaping the person I am today. It is a testament to the transformative power of communal ties, illustrating that without the nurturing embrace of a community, my personal and developmental trajectory would have been markedly different.
Recognizing the profound impact that community has had on my own life, I am inspired to pay it forward. Creating and fostering communities is not merely an ideal for me; it is an imperative step towards contributing to the collective betterment of our world. MY INVOLVEMENT
Professionally, I serve as a Senior Community Planner at CP Planning, a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for increased housing affordability across communities in Ontario. In this capacity, I am deeply committed to addressing critical issues related to housing accessibility, collaborating with stakeholders, and implementing strategies that positively impact the lives of community members.
Simultaneously, my dedication extends to A4H Sports, where I assume the role of Program Lead, guiding and instructing youth in the intricate art of basketball refereeing. Beyond the educational aspect, I actively participate in officiating basketball games at various levels, including Pro, University, College, and High School. This hands-on involvement in the sports community allows me to contribute not only to skill development but also to the overall sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship within these diverse settings.
Furthermore, I proudly serve as an Ambassador for Brothers Who Care, an organization passionately committed to recognizing and amplifying leadership within the Black community. In this role, I actively engage in initiatives that celebrate and uplift Black voices, fostering a sense of unity and empowerment.
In each of these diverse capacities, my central focus remains on cultivating strong relationships as a means to nurture a sense of community. Whether it's advocating for affordable housing, imparting knowledge to the next generation of referees, officiating sports events, or amplifying leadership within the Black community, my commitment lies in fostering connections that contribute to the growth, resilience, and unity of the communities I serve.

At the core of my diverse array of pursuits lies a meticulously crafted foundation, grounded in the unwavering belief that every action has the potential to contribute to leaving the world in a better state than we found it. This overarching philosophy underscores my commitment to personal growth as a paramount goal, and I am equally devoted to inspiring and assisting others on their transformative journey toward becoming the best versions of themselves.
A pivotal realization in this journey is the recognition that mental health, wellness, and mindset play indispensable roles in unlocking one's full potential. In response to this insight, I took the initiative to establish Mindstate U, a platform designed to be a beacon of guidance and empowerment. This endeavor stems from the profound understanding that the state of one's mind significantly influences the state of their life. Mindstate U is not just a project; it is a testament to the holistic approach I wholeheartedly champion in my commitment to making a positive impact on individuals and communities alike.
